Innovation Africa @UP is based at the Hatfield Experimental Farm of the University of Pretoria and is situated in the heart of the capital and centre of governance of South Africa. The location is at a major North-South/East-West crossroad in southern Africa, surrounded by a globally representative diplomatic core, head offices of research networks and funders, development agencies and various businesses, and one of the highest concentrations of research and innovation capacity on the continent makes it probably the most strategically positioned tract of land and support base for research and capacity development investment on the continent.
