Mrs. Selokela holds an MTech degree in Agriculture with a specialization in Crop Production and has over 12 years of experience in the agricultural research industry. She has extensive experience managing research trials, leading research support teams, and is proficient in farm management operations.

Currently, Mrs. Selokela is responsible for the efficient operation, oversight, day-to-day coordination, management, and maintenance of the IA@UP campus infrastructure and equipment. Additionally, she manages and supervises the campus staff and residents.

She is actively involved in stakeholder engagements to foster collaborations that align with IA@UP's mission of promoting long-term, world-class industry-government-university research and training partnerships. These partnerships support joint innovation, enhancing the competitive and effective functioning of South African industries and policy.

Before joining the University of Pretoria, Mrs. Selokela worked at the Agricultural Research Council. She is also an AgriSeta-approved assessor.
